Jennings’ remodel began in June last year, and the grand re-opening took place on Veterans Day in November of 2017. “Simply by word of mouth we’re seeing a lot of new faces who always say, ‘Wow, we never expected this!’” “The longtime patrons love the retro remodel," says Jennings. Knoxville’s oldest bar is under new ownership and received a facelift, but regulars can still expect the comfortable feel of their old, usual place.
